This online class is the first of 2023 Writing for the Seasons Series with Vanessa Mártir. 

The session is scheduled for the first day of spring in the northern hemisphere, the vernal equinox, on March 20th at 7pm EST. The classes will be held via zoom. 

The theme of the first class is NEW BEGINNINGS because spring is the promise that everything (us included) can begin again. 

A few days before the class, I will send participants a list of readings, inspired by spring and the theme. These readings will serve to inspire and lead us into writing prompts that I will provide during the class.

The hope is that writers will start something new—a poem, essay, story, play—that they’ve been brooding over or considering. Writers can also opt to continue building on something they’ve been working on. Whatever you decide, you are guaranteed to write and be in community. 

The cost of the class is $36.
