Announcing a New, FREE Series: Writing Experimental Essays

What are experimental essays? What do they look like? How can experimenting with form add nuance and deepen your personal essay writing?

In this Free/Donation-based class, we’ll be covering a different kind of experimental essay every session.

In the first session, on February 17th, we’ll answer the questions: What are experimental essays? What do they look like?

Dates are the third Wednesday of the month, February to June, 7-9pm EST:
February 17th: What is experimentation in personal essay?
March 17th: What is flash nonfiction?
April 21st: What is the collage essay?
May 19th: What is the braided essay?
June 16th: What is the hermit crab essay?

Upcoming classes will cover flash NF, the collage essay, the braided essay & the hermit crab essay. Class topic will be announced in advance.

Mark your calendars: Registration information forthcoming on February 1st. Participants must register month to month, and cannot register for all the classes en bloc.
